Jan W. Tanner is responsible for the marketing of
international products to companies throughout the Hibernia
footprint; for the administration of the Bank’s export
programs; for training programs given internally and externally;
and for international correspondent banking. Since joining
Hibernia in 1989, Ms. Tanner has regularly served as a seminar
speaker for numerous organizations, including the American
Management Association, the World Trade Center, and the
Louisiana Center for International Trade. She also speaks at
major universities in Louisiana and has participated in the A.
B. Freeman School of Business "Executive Speaker
Series". She also frequently speaks throughout the region
at seminars for importers and exporters sponsored by local
Chambers of Commerce, the Small Business Administration and the
U. S. Department of Commerce.
After attending the University of South Alabama in Mobile,
Ms. Tanner completed advanced training at the Alabama Banking
School. She completed the U.S. Council on International Banking
Operations School, the American Graduate School of International
Management "International Markets and Strategies"
training, the Export-Import Bank Delegated Lender program, and
Hibernia’s credit training program. She holds four diplomas
from the American Institute of Banking and has attended numerous
training programs related to the field of international trade
and finance.
