Amb. François Bujon de l’Estang is a graduate of the Institute Politique de Paris, le Ecole Nationale d’Administration, and the Advanced Management Program of the Harvard Business School. He has had a distinguished career in the diplomatic service and in business over the past 30 years, starting as an aide to French President Charles de Gaulle. He then held postings in the French embassies in Washington and London early in his career, as well as later high-level assignments with the French government in Paris. From 1989 to 1991 he served as Ambassador of France to Canada. He was appointed Ambassador to the United States in 1995.
